This shot was taken on the West Coast of Vancouver Island just shy of Brooks Peninsula. We were on a sea kayaking expedition in an absolute down pour, and of course I was carrying my 600mm lens with me in the kayak. This is a raft of male sea otters who were very curious of our group. It was truly a special interaction.
